Artistic Director Geof
Keys says “First of all, thanks to all of you that helped make our autumn
season the busiest it’s ever been – your support for our shows, events, films,
exhibitions and workshops is vital for the arts centre and the community it
serves.
This new season
continues our aim to provide a wide range of art and entertainment, with
something for everybody. There are regular favourites: Le Vent du Nord,
Clydebuilt Puppets, Multistory Theatre, Juan Martín and Théâtre Sans
Frontières, plus some exciting and fun new visitors – Peatbog Faeries, The
Tommy Cooper Show, The John Godber Company and Morgan & West. We’re also
pleased to welcome the return of the fabulous Opera della Luna with The Tales
of Offenbach.
Our galleries
programme grows from strength to strength. This season we have a selection of
material from Louise Mackenzie, one of the bright stars of Lumiere Durham, and
from J.D. ‘Okhai Ojeikere – a major national tour of the Nigerian
