Aycliffe Dance Academy has been selected to star alongside
Bobby Davro, Dani Harmer and Lee Latchford-Evans from STEPS in this year’s
Easter pantomime, Beauty & The Beast at Darlington Civic Theatre in April.
Emma Cox,
Principal of the Aycliffe Dance Academy said: “Aycliffe Dance Academy worked with Enchanted Entertainment
last year when we provided the Lost Boys and Tinkerbell for their Easter
production of Peter Pan. The company were really happy
with the high standard and professionalism of our girls that they asked us to
provide 6 senior dancers to perform in Beauty and the Beast this year. I was
absolutely ecstatic that the dance academy was given this fantastic
opportunity.”
“The girls
aged between 15 and 20 years old are absolutely over the moon to be taking part
in this fantastic production, dancing alongside such well known and loved
celebrities. Having the opportunity to perform in one of the North East’s
biggest theatres is also super exciting for them. They can't wait to get to the
theatre to meet all of the cast and have the best experience of their lives.”
“The girls
have been working extremely hard in preparation for the big performance. It's
going to be an amazing production for all the family, one that's not to be
missed.”
Enchanted
Entertainment have assembled a fantastic cast and are planning some true
pantomime magic to ensure ‘Beauty and the Beast’ will be a spectacular family
show with wonderful sets, brilliant costumes, high-octane dance routines and
plenty of popular songs to please all ages.
