Preview: Aladdin at Hartlepool Town Hall

Coronation Street Star in Hartlepool Panto

Aladdin
Hartlepool Town Hall
Friday 16th – Wednesday 28th December 2016

Tickets are selling fast for Hartlepool’s first ever professional pantomime and families are being urged to book their seats to avoid disappointment.

Former Coronation Street actor Terence Maynard is the star of Aladdin at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre this Christmas.

Terence - Tony Stewart in the ITV soap until he left last year - is playing the role of the wicked wizard Abanazar.

Hartlepool Council has joined forces with Elite Pantomimes to stage the show.

The pantomime tells the story of Aladdin as he tries to make his fortune while dreaming about marrying the gorgeous Princess Jasmine. However, all the while evil Abanazar lurks in the shadows intent on ruining everything.

This brand new production features all the fun and laughs of a traditional, family pantomime – a flying carpet, a mysterious genie and a good old-fashioned song sheet – backed by a live band.

Performances begin on Friday December 16 and continue until Wednesday December 28, with the exception of Christmas Day. There will be a special relaxed performance aimed specifically at people with an autistic spectrum condition, sensory and communication disorders or learning disabilities on Monday December 19 at 2.30pm.

Tickets:
Tickets are priced at £14 for adults, £12 for children or £47 for a family (2 adults and 2 children.
